Phil Edwards is the owner of Weald EVT. He has worked in design, development, production, engineering, and manufacturing roles, and was Operations Director at a scientific instrument manufacturer before becoming a self-employed manufacturing advisor in 2005.
Phil uniquely brings three different skills to the business: as an engineer he is well qualified to handle technical challenges but he is equally adept at free-thinking creative work. With board-level management experience he can comfortably switch his attention to the strategic and business issues too.
He is a member of the Institute
of Engineering and Technology and sits on the Electric Motorcycle Industry

Libby is the family dog and Weald team mascot. She is a rescue pup, having been found abandoned and tied to a gate.
She has four beds dotted around the house and workshop and loves to be involved in whatever’s going on. You’ll find her in some of the videos and pictures around this site.
Libby has a friendly and playful nature and loves meeting people. She does agility classes for fun, racing over the jumps and up and down ramps. The tunnel can be problematic as she often stops to see what’s on top of it rather than go through it…
